Umbro Italia in collaboration with NSS SPORTS and Classic Football Shirts gives us football and fashion fans 3 days of memories.
Thus was born, UMBRO 95.
On 12-13-14 September, 95 football shirts, the most iconic, will be on display at BASE in Milan to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the English brand from Manchester.
We at blogdontlie took part in the first opening evening, obviously attended by the guys from New Age, the brand's licensee for Italy. We listened carefully to the words of Pierluigi Pardo who also told the younger ones how much this brand means history, in football but also in the world of fashion.
Interventions, many, from enthusiasts who came to admire the unique pieces. The best question, and for us who will be offering Umbro in stores from the 2019/20 season, the most interesting was: 'will we soon see Umbro on a Serie A championship team?'.
Positive response from New Age administrators, in favor of a return of the brand to the Italian top flight, trying to make its way through the tighter Adidas and Nike shirts.
Walking around the exhibition you can admire the ever iconic Campos shirt, a true love for us; Bergkamp's Fiorucci Inter shirt, Chelsea's Zola and many others.
Above all that of Manchester United.
In these 3 days, in addition to viewing the shirts, you will be able to come across workshops for customizing vintage football shirts or a fun machine that will photograph you and give you your image as a figurine wearing one of the many Umbrian shirts of your choice.
Cool isn't it?
Come by for a stroll and between a beer and a chat, treat yourself to a dive into your football memories.
It's really worth it.
